mustard velvet dress.

                                                                                                This mustard velvet prairie-vibe dress was the last item I bought in a proper store before the quarantine! It was during the Anthropologie extra percentage off of Clearance items sales and my mom talked me into it even though I was reluctant to buy a dress in such a tiny size despite the fact that it is literally a perfect fit that felt tailored to me. 

Even this morning, looking at it again and seeing it on the hanger and with the tags still on, I thought to myself "do I just resell it on Poshmark? It is valuable, maybe somebody that is truly the size on the tag will really want this Sold Out and unique dress?" I talked myself out of it quickly though once I tried it on again (it has been about two months) and took these photos. WOW, did this dress blow me away more than ever! It's such an amazing dress. It truly makes me feel like Belle from beauty and the beast. I love the color, cut, length, and most velvet things so the material is a win too.

I just wish it wasn't so darned hot in the summer because I definitely can't wear it properly unless I have a party to go to or somewhere indoors! I am already dreaming of wearing it in the fall with sweaters and cute jackets and scarves, with pumpkins and mustard-colored leaves....I just am really pleased with this dress and this post is dedicated to it!
