rainy cat trench

Image
April 29th: I finally found this Miss Patina hard-to-find (always sold out) cat embroidered trench coat for a great price (new with tags!) on Poshmark. I had to have it and this was my first time styling it for a rainy day!  beret- ebay, old sunglasses, ted baker london bag, miss patina trench, old dress from anthropologie, navy sven clogs (leaf punch)

brunch in blue.

Image
I LOVE this new-to-me dress that I thrifted this week! It is so dreamy and swishy and all my fave colors of teal!  It seemed like the perfect dress for our first brunch outside (since the pandemic) AND with Axel at a dog friendly AZ bar! I'm wearing:   dress-thrifted, bag-from my husband (coach), bag charm-coach (poshmark), clogs-sven clogs

super fast ootd.

Image
Quick ootd pic by my husband! I'm wearing: dress-secondhand from my sister, bustier/top-tj maxx, clogs-c/o sven clogs

new moon (belt).

Image
My husband found this really cool moon belt at the thrift store and it is actually stamped with the year on it! '67! How cool? It is a bit broken on the buckle (inside) so it just needs some glue and a new metal knobby bit to stay clasped, easy fix! I'm wearing: hat-nordstrom rack, top-thrifted, necklace-old (katherine tess),  belt-thrifted, bag-ted baker london, skirt-coldwater creek (poshmark), clogs-c/o sven clogs

shopping outfit.

Image
Not super exciting, just a very on-repeat shopping look! Perfect for a brunch and nordstrom rack outing with my mom. I ended up finding my new fave pjs and getting a new bra by my fave brand also (wacoal)!  I don't usually buy a lot of new clothes from nordstrom rack but I do love looking through their literal endless shoes for sales and their fancy and cocktail dresses are the best to shop at for a event! I'm wearing: top- thrifted (apt. 9), jeans-free people, bag-kate spade (bday gift), sandals-melissa x lazy oaf (gift from my sister), sunglasses-amazon, earrings-etsy (scorpio bree jewelry)  What do YOU wear to shop? Do you like Nordstrom Rack? xx

styled by my friend, Jenna!

Image
My friend Jenna did her own DIY version of my heart jeans (with flowers) and she styled them her way and asked if I wanted to twin for a post on insta! This is my version of how she styled them, very similarly to what she was wearing! You can check out my post for a side by side and link to her profile! She's fabulous. I'm wearing: hat-borrowed from my husband (australian outback hat), tee-uniqlo, scarf-miss patina, trench-anthro (poshmark), jeans-revice (eBay), clogs-sven clogs  Have you ever let your friends style you? xx

kilt by a shark.

Image
I FINALLY FOUND my dream kilt on Poshmark for only $20 and I'm in love! It's pretty hot to wear it but I just had to style it and try it out with my docs like I've been dreaming of for about 5 years now. I'm wearing: hat-minnetonka, tee-thrifted, kilt-poshmark, boots-dr martens, choker-thrifted ABOVE is the original pic on the left that influenced me to buy these boots and yearn for a kilt of my own! That Led Zepp tee she's wearing is pretty sick too, I just noticed! would you wear a kilt? xx

banana phone.

Image
I tried something fun and new! Mixed fruits! I'm wearing: orange tee-marshall's (old), skirt-the limited (poshmark), sunglasses-oui fresh, headband-amazon, clogs-sven clogs

dorothy dress.

Image
This dress checked a lot of boxes for me...it is by ASOS which I've been curious about for ages (secondhand, of course), it has a definite Dorothy Gayle style gingham print, it has an elastic waist, it matches my new sandals, and it was only $7!  The super low front and back were a bit of a challenge but I will try it a few different ways eventually...here is my first attempted styling with a high necked lace pj top under (don't tell anyone)! I'm wearing: dress-asos (poshmark), sunglasses-oui fresh, headband-amazon, bag-vintage (poshmark), shoes-lazy oaf x melissa

rodeo hearts.

Image
When I saw these Lazy Oaf shorts styled on their website, the model had a very western-inspired look with cowboy boots and I knew that was the best way to wear them for me as well! I'm wearing: blouse- vintage (thrifted), bag-vintage (poshmark), belt-vintage (thrifted), shorts-lazy oaf, boots-eight second angel (eBay)  This outfit 100% screams SUMMER to me and I hope to repeat it many times this year and for many summers to come. It just feels GOOD and fun and makes me feel like a rockstar cowgirl! xx

disney and donut dreams.

Image
I'm wearing: hat-from my honeymoon in Candada, dress-universal thread (poshmark), bag-disney x coach (eBay), shirt-marshall's (old), clogs-Sven Clogs  I can't believe that I still haven't been able to take my mickey purse to Disneyland but I will one day! This is a not-super-exciting outfit repeater look. I gotta wear what I love the most, right? xx

saturday saguaro style.

Image
I own a lot of Miss Patina clothing but this dress always gets the most compliments when I wear it. It's definitely very true to me! I'm also wearing my beret handmade by my friend Jodie! I'm wearing: dress-miss patina, beret-gift, bag-botkier (ebay), sandals-lazy oaf X melissa, sunglasses-old, pacsun

hot pink & flower boots.

Image
Obviously, I'm a crazy shoe-lover and I'm often getting compliments on my footwear, which is SO lovely but these boots, today, I actually had two different women come up to TOUCH them because they were so intrigued! It was pretty funny to be honest. I was getting my infusion for my Crohn's Disease and it always makes me feel better to look cute (and be comfy in nothing tight since I'm sitting for 3 hours on an IV drip). I also realized when I got home and put my clothes in the hamper that I've been wearing this blouse backwards all along but I honestly love it both ways! It's pretty versatile.  A FULLY THRIFTED OUTFIT HEAD TO TOE! I'm wearing: blouse-free people (thrifted), dress-ae outfitters (thrifted), bag-betsey johnson (poshmark), boots-Justin Boots (eBay)

black & pink, dreaming of Fall outfits in the Spring...

Image
Even though it's getting hot already, I'm dreaming of boots and dresses and I'm not ready to retire one of my fave thrifts this year quite yet (this white vintage blouse)! I'm wearing: hat-minnetonka, blouse-vintage thrift, dress-thrifted, boots-ariat (poshmark), bag-poshmark (90s!) I really enjoy the contrast of girly florals and basket bag with tough boots and hat! What do you think? Do you mix different vibes when you plan outfits? What's your fave season to dress for? It's DEFINITELY Fall for me! xx
