poodle house 2024.

Above: this recently thrifted gingham stretchy-torso dress is one of my current fave pieces ever! I've been wearing my new secondhand Cassie style coach bag a whole lot lately! The color is so pretty, but the size definitely feels a bit smaller than I would prefer. These two poodle boys are really lighting up my life. Yeti has opened up a lot and been so sweet and good natured. He's such a happy dog that when he wags his tail, he shakes his whole body with joy. It's super heartwarming!  Hot dog as a pillow? Above: telling secrets? Below: helping me write some content in the office You probably are sick of seeing this 80's drop waist dress, but it's a summer staple. 100% cotton dresses are one of the only ways to survive dressing for the desert heat! Axel wanted a part of this outfit shoot wearing my faux-skort mini skirt and thrifted top with a clearance f21 hat and Poshmark fanny pack and c/o Sven Clogs with a beautiful 'pixel' leather pattern! a new member in our family...

Meet the newest member of our family, this white standard poodle boy, and Axel's nephew, Yeti! I can't believe Axel is his genuine uncle! How fun is that? This was a big decision and a lot of planning and conversations around my mother-in-law having a standard poodle as her main companion that would keep her company and give her energy and make her feel safe (since it's her first time without living with a full house in maybe 20 years)!  The great thing is that Yeti is already a little over 1, so he's housebroken and no longer teething.  The hard thing is that he needs to be neutered, and he also is so sheltered and skittish, that we are going to keep him at our house for at least a few months to train him and let Axel also help with training him since Axel is the dream dog and a Very Good Boy. We ended up shaving his front arms because he is white and doesn't always aim very well when he pees to put it mildly! This is going to be a bit of a learning curve. Plus it...

Spring Travels...I went to NY!

Image
What's better than a post-travel massage? Not much! We also watched Ruby for a few days since my parents stayed in NY longer than us. My husband hates this denim skirt, but I still love it, and I really like how it pairs with tall western boots! We are living in our Vietnamese food era! We have such a great place near us that we really love. Isn't this Goosebumps tee fun? I like how it pairs with the neon green in the skirt! Did some Savers' thrifting with my friend from MN. We found some things! I really liked this retro Modcloth dress (above) but it's too big in the chest so will be FOR SALE! Below, my friend found A FOSSIL! How cool? I ate a gyro sandwich to give me some thrift fuel (below) NYC was the destination for my friend's brother's wedding! My brother was even one of two best men, so I'm especially glad to have been in the guest party! Most of our NY trip was actually spent in Albany. I brought my new yellow leather jacket on it's maiden voyag...
