My husband and I did a combo day of TJ Maxx and the Plato's Closet next door and we found some goodies (for both of us). I got this super retro Aristocat Disney tee that I thought was adorable from Plato's Closet (looks like they are making a remake/live action or that creepy cat animated a la Garfield sometime soon). I got this dreamy slip skirt by Nicole Miller from TJ Maxx. It is MY COLOR and the perfect not-too-skintight fit for me! I think I'm mostly going to have to wear it on cool days though because it is very delicate to wash (it says hand wash) but I'd rather wash it as little as possible to make it last! I also got this super puff-mama sleeved top that has a cute tie back feature! I love it Check out this classic Goosebumps mens' tee that I couldn't help but feel like I needed for the spooky season and just to lounge around in, wear to the gym or with bike shorts for a hike! I got this dress in the anthro clearance sale last month but had ordered it in the store to ship in a different size to me since they only had size L in stock and it was pretty big in the chest! The m definitely feels like the right fit. It just has a lot of creases and needs a proper steaming to be just right. I'm still unsure about this skirt. I might add it to the shop. I just don't think it fits me right, it's a bit tight in the hips! A purple monochrome moment with some old reliable pieces This green dress is one of my power pieces for sure This was a cute and comfy brunch outfit for a VERY hot day (and meal outside) We even put Axel's booties on so he wouldn't burn his paws on the road when crossing over to the restuarant! The patio had misters and was in the shade, so it wasn't too crazy. We also always give him LOTS of water in the Summer! This is one of my FAVORITE looks of the month! I'm wearing the acid wash turquoise denim skirt again...this time with black instead of gray. I like the strong contrast.
