Some weeks are harder than others, especially having Chrohn's Disease. This is a hard week for me. Yesterday and today, I've been in a lot of pain. At least this morning, I was able to get my blood work done since I'm going to my doctor to discuss a new treatment plan on Friday (next week). I'm glad it's Friday, I'm looking forward to seeing Aladdin with my best friend on Monday and taking the weekend to relax and recharge, it's finally swimming season, the pool temp feels just right! Also, my husband and I are currently obsessed with Tyler the Creator's 'Nuts 'n' Bolts' series on Vice. We just watched the Breakfast Episode and drooled the whole way through and even ordered the syrup that was featured in the episode and want to have a breakfast party of our own this summer!  I'm wearing: t-shirt-marshall's, skirt-poshmark, bag-liebskind berlin (thrifted), holographic clogs- c/o Sven BUY HERE . snglasses-balenciaga (th

bringing pink back.

The #simplystyledmay challenge today was 'I'm bringing _____ back" and for me, it definitely reminds me of the Justin Timberlake song but honestly, when I really thought about what I wanted to wear today and what I've been 'bringing back' lately it's been the color pink. I avoided it for many years, saying it was too 'girly' too 'frou frou' but when I fell in love with these pink Sven bow clogs earlier this year, I gradually collected and incorporated a lot more pink clothing in my wardrobe and I love it now! I'm not saying I'm going to go all Lolita fashion and wear tons of bows and ruffles or dye my hair pink or anything so dramatic...but I think it's a great addition for me to 'bring back' into my closet and my personal style!   I'm wearing: tee-thrifted, bobeau, jeans-pilcro from anthropologie, bag-thrifted, liebskind berlin, sunglasses-thrifted, balenciaga, clogs-Sven buy HERE  What have you rece

diving into to summer.

Last time I wore this dress, one of my favorite dresses that I can literally wear all year 'round (thank you, layering) I focused on the pink roses and did lots of pink touches, see the outfit HERE. This time, I focused on the black color of the dress and wore it with a black tank top (great for an 80 degree desert day) and black heart clogs because duh.  I took some photos (most came out questionable and you could see my pool cleaning solutions) but I really like this one on the right because I look braver than I feel right now, ready to dive into summer--to try and keep hoping for results with a major medication change for my Chrohns and just in general, give myself sunlight and healing time. Also, I live in the pool all summer and find few things more relaxing than bobbing around with a big brimmed hat and a good book in the pool for hours.  I'm wearing- t ank top-second hand, dress-thrifted, necklace-thrifted, sunglasses-anthropologie, clogs-swedish hasbeen (eBay)

re-released Swedish Hasbeens Heart Clogs! 19 Clogs Wishlist!

all SH images  in this post via SH Website (C) Swedish Hasbeens The first re-release I saw last month on Swedish Hasbeens' instagram, the mid heel heart medallion clogs, updated with a mid-heel instead of the 3' one on the former editions (which I own in black.) These mid-heel clogs are updated with a lower heel and a more retro 70's blocky heel rather than the more 50's style Gypsie heel in the earlier version. I don't own this style but it's great to see. I love that a new round of heart-loving customers can wear and rock these awesome and unique sandals! The red, black, yellow and tan are all lovely and cost $230 a pair. It's an investment for sure. I would be happy to have a pair but would not spend that kind of money and have a pretty full clog closet right now. The lower heeled, debutante style heart medallion clogs are true to the original style except they have a natural wood heel instead of being all one color (I have the monochromatic
