my thrifting Totoro outfit.

Image
So many people on instagram think that my tree is a lemon tree rather than the grapefruit tree that it is than I stopped correcting everyone! I just love the pop of color and using it as a background for my photo shoots. It's been a busy week with shuffling off to doctors appointments and getting inconclusive lab results on my new meds' progress so my next step is an MRI, wish me luck!  I last wore my red coat  HERE  with a pop of plaid! I last wore my Totoro dress  HERE  for a Cirque De Soleil xmas show! I last wore my customized white docs  HERE  with a chunky sweater and midi dress.  I'm wearing: beret-vintage (poshmark), trench coat-elevenses (poshmark), totoro dress-hot topic (old), otk socks-xmas gift, boots-dr. martens with custom laces and Miss Patina cat lace charms !  Did you have a nice weekend? I've been so busy, my head has been spinning slightly but I am absolutely LOVING the new Pokemon Sword game that I got ...

grays and purples again.

Happy Sunday! I can't help but be attracted to gray and lavender together, there is definitely something winsome about the two colors in my opinion! I last wore my Sven boots HERE  with a dinosaur sweatshirt! I last wore my lavender pleated skirt AND purple bag HERE with a cool monochrome look and holographic clogs! I last wore my chunky gray buttoned turtleneck HERE  layered over a midi dress! I last wore my purple hat HERE with my Wednesday Addams dress!  I'm wearing: sweater-thrifted, skirt-endless rose (poshmark), bag-coach swing pack (eBay), sunglasses-balenciaga (thrifted), hat-dillard's (poshmark), boots- c/o SVEN CLOGS I do feel like I fulfilled my style challenge to myself by wearing my gifted Sven boots even more than ever this week. They are so amazing and I am so grateful for them! I don't think this sweater is 'flattering' at all but I do still love it for warmth and comfort and the skirt makes it a bit more girly and ...

Happy Friday! I leaned into the seventies again and it felt pretty good. I just picked up this zip up turtleneck while thrifting for $5 and it is just perfect for an Arizona Winter since it's pretty light weight but has the super long sleeves that I tend to favor. This is my first time wearing it but I think it would look great with a lot of different things! I last wore my mustard toggle coat AND pom hat HERE the day after xmas! I last wore my sequin star jeans HERE with a striped sweater! I last wore my grunge boots (in natural color) HERE with a military color coat! I DO use my backpack all of the time but I don't always wear it with style outfits because it doesn't always match or I'll use it on a more casual day when I'm just running errands or staying at my parents' house or a day trip. You can see it HERE on the blog styled a bit more girly with a pink blouse.  I'm wearing: coat-sebby (poshmark), beanie-target (poshmark), tur...

I felt really good in my outfit today! I got stopped several times by strangers giving compliments which is always so positively affirming and just gives me that extra boost! I last wore my plaid dress (one of many) HERE layered with a denim shirt! I last wore my RED COAT, BAG, & CLOG BOOTS HERE in a really similar look but with a bit of a twist since I wore a short red dress under and had a different hat!   I'm wearing : beret-vintage (poshmark), dress-anthropologie, boots-no. 6 (eBay), coat-elevenses (poshmark), glasses-dolce & gabanna, layered long sleeve shirt-secondhand, necklace-nordstrom rack, bag-coach 'lexi'   This outfit just feels VERY me and I think I might have to repeat it a few times before Winter ends! I was talking to my mom about how I love the 'prairie' trend and the ruffle hem vibe of this dress and some other dresses I picked up recently that I'm looking forward to wearing on the blog! Happy Thursday! xx

No. 6 Clogs: 'Garcia'

Image
The first photo is via the No. 6 Clogs website. The 'Garcia' boot is sold out most places and you can see a listing for it HERE priced at $380 brand new retail! That's a lot of clams, as they say. I like the photo on the top left because it shoes a sock option for warmth but on the other website it shoes them without socks. I'm wearing them without socks today but it is a bit chilly this time of year to not wear socks. I'm curious to style them and try some tights and different vibes. They definitely look great with jeans. They are comfortable but run a bit tight, I'm an 8-8.5 and my toe is pretty far in but they did fit better when I put some pads in under the ball of my foot! I have a high arch. I know what you're thinking now, did I pay full price for these 'Park Slope Status Clog' Boots? Well, brace yourself... I paid FORTY DOLLARS on Poshmark! Yes, very, very reasonable! The only flaw is minor wear to the bottom and then two stapl...

I had a procedure today and I took these pictures in the morning before I went into the office. I was a bit delirious from fasting but I did my best. The goal was to be comfy cozy and wear pj-like clothing because I knew I would want to sleep after. I've had these leggings for about a year and they are fleece lined! I got them at the store-closing sale at Sear's. I recently picked up this sweatshirt from Plato's Closet but decided to list it on my Poshmark. I just wanted to try to style it and see if I liked it enough to keep it. The boob/bra outline just doesn't fit me right and the length is awkward on me. I know it would be great on somebody else though, so check out my closet to steal my style! I last wore my olive felt hat HERE with a green monotone vibe! I last wore my green parka HERE with a rainbow purse and some 70's style platform boots! I last wore my Sven Boots HERE with a dino sweatshirt and jeans! I wore my leggings HERE a totally different...
