80s rocker vibes on a Thursday.

Image
My husband said I looked like an 80s rocker when I came home from work and I guess I kind of felt like one too! Which is a good thing and a compliment in my opinion! I love the 80s. And I love a good rocker/biker/moto jacket and this JOA one is definitely my go to. It is the best faux leather anything I have ever bought or seen anywhere. I really love it. I think the jeans and gold jewelry and hair made it a bit more of a 'rocker' look too. I got the shirt from Zara and it isn't my typical style but it's great for work. The scarab necklace is from Poshmark and my jeans were a great find at Marshall's. Of course you may have seen my shoes on my Clogs Diary post. I don't know why or how but I am so obsessed with clogs. They are TOO comfortable but SO stylish (in my opinion) and I have a very high arch and am a pretty true 39 so I like reading reviews and looking up measurements to find that perfect custom-feeling fit!  I'm wearing: jacket- J

I would like to post more recent outfits but last week was just SO stylish I feel a bit lackluster this week in comparison. This was my absolute favorite look from last week (it was really hard to pick but...) I finally got OVERALLS! A pair that has so many things I love...velvet, stars, optional cuffing at the bottoms, petite-friendly inseam, classing back sillouette, roomy front pockets, adjustable straps. They are super awesome and I'm in love. Even better, the front is just a big old zipper so going to the bathroom or quick changes are really easy! And I really am not a fan the side zipper on pants. I always feel uneven and wonky. Could just be my Libra spirit, who knows?  Also, THESE RED SANDGRENS MILAN HIGH CLOGS, can I just wear these all the time? They are so pretty! I feel so lucky to have found them on Poshmark as I've said in my intro to them. They are seriously STUNNING and I can't even. I sized down a bit in the overalls because I don't like the bagg

Forever & Ever seems like the right slogan to have emblazoned on my back on any weekend, really...  I had a lot of fun rocking my new Jurrasic Park tee that I picked up thrifting on a great sale!  I also love the silver of my pierced jeans with the silver in my lottas! Clogs for the win!  I'm wearing: page X hw bomber, jurrasic park tee, zara jeans (old), lotta from stockholm clogs, chameleon earrings from Claire's (RIP, Claire's!) Do you like jackets with slogans and sayings on the backs? Are you a fan of nerdy tees on the weekend (or maybe on Casual Fridays)? Let me know in the comments! xx

Who doesn't love a good 'reveal' a la RuPaul ? This trench that I've wanted for about ten years seemed like enough of a statement but when I last minutedly put it on over my new red dress, I knew it was the perfect 'reveal' moment! I felt so confident and so fancy at work today! Oh and I bought the trench coat I wanted for ten years on Poshmark last month but this is my first time wearing it out, in case you were wondering, after carefully considering it's value and haggling with the seller to lower the price to one I could justify! (it was originally on sale for $255 at anthropologie the first time I saw it and wanted it for my own). If you are really lucky, you too can find it on Poshmark or even eBay and it called the Pansy Trenchcoat by Elevenses.  It was even featured on PLL back in the day. I know it's an old style but I'm not exactly one for following trends. I've been into lace up and corset stuff, pretty much all stuff, since I wa

I finally wore my cool cord flare pants that I got on mega clearance from anthropologie last month! They are definitely a statement piece and a throwback so I thought that pairing them with a mini backpack and some Maguba clogs would be the way to go! I'm really happy with the look I wore and it was super comfortable. I love when pants fit me right and I don't even need a belt. That's a good feeling.  I wore: anthropologie top, anthropologie cord flares, kate spade backpack, maguba clogs  I think my favorite picture from this shoot is the one where the sunlight is just swallowing me up! I love the feelings of warmth and heavenly glow that I somehow was able to capture on film in this moment... I hope you like my cord flare styling! Do you have cord flares or any cord throwback clothing? How do you style it? Let me know below! xx

room to grow.

Maybe it felt a little silly to get in there with the flowers, but we all need a little room to grow, don't we? And my boots are ready to return to some soil to bloom some new flowers!   I got this jacket at a consignment store and I love it. It's the perfect blend of Victorian and Pirate and the color is so unique.   I'm wearing: express tee, zara jeans, free people jacket, doc martens, pashmina from Israel  Have you ever taken pics in experimental places like flower beds? What's your favorite way to wear your combat boots? Do you like corset detailing as much as me? Or even half as much as me? Let me know! xx

for 2019, I'm doing 19 lists or 19 things. If you have any requests, PLEASE COMMENT!
