Happy Friday and last day of January, which I am like, good riddance! January kind of sucked for me, I'm over it! Today I'm doing my best Hogwarts pep rally or semi final vibe with my silver skirt that I am highly debating whether or not I can justify keeping since I am largely clueless on what to wear it with...we all have our challenges. I also hated that the waistband was not elastic and is too big on me but now I'm beginning to think it's a good thing because I can fold it over, belt it, wear it on my bloated days, ect.... Do you like silver skirts? How do you wear them??? I last wore my Hogwarts sweatshirt HERE  with the same hat! I last wore my silver skirt HERE  with a Champagne Tee for NYE! I last wore my platform ankle strap clogs HERE with my favorite outfit of January!  I'm wearing: sweatshirt: thrifted, skirt-poshmark (romeo and juliet couture), beret-Miss Patina, sunglasses-anthropologie (old), pearls: thrifted, clogs-Loef

gengar graphic tee, holographic clogs.

I've been playing Pokemon Sword for about two and a half weeks and I already beat it...I know it's meant for kids target audience but I'm a 90's kid and Pokemon is a very real fandom for me! I loved the game very much but it feels bittersweet to play the after game since there is very little to offer as far as rebeating trainers/gyms go and a lack of new bosses or super beasts (like the last game release), the trick/catch and reasoning for this is that Pokemon is doing an expansion pack that you have to PAY for (in addition to the original game cost of $60) AND wait all the way until June 2020. This is lame in my opinion. Plus the second and final expansion pack doesn't come until Fall 2020 and is for the companion game, Pokemon Shield, that I don't own. It's like adding insult to injury. I love the game, and I will continue to support Pokemon, except for Pokemon GO because I hate that concept and it's never going to match up to the system games in

TME CHALLENGE: Slip Dress!

Image
I took a much needed almost-week off of social media and focused on my internal healing. I had a terrible flare up of symptoms, a medication change, the worst MRI experience I could've imagined (I was like the exorcist on the exam table after a bad reaction to prep injection) and I'm just honestly trying to pull myself together and look forward to healthier days and an end to the rocky road that was my January! This week's prompt is slip dresses! Not something I wear often, I don't like snug fits on my middle or my booty typically but this slip dress has a tee attached for easy styling and is a pretty nice fit! I've never worn it, it is secondhand from my sister and for sale HERE in my Poshmark closet if you're interested (size 6)! I last wore my bucket bag HERE with some plaid! More side slit action too! I last wore my white docs HERE with a cozy gray sweater and dress outfit. I wore my olive anorak HERE pretty recently with a pop of gray.

TME CHALLENGE: plaid flannel shirt.

You might know that I've been a longtime fan of TME blog and I love when they occasionally do style challenges on Instagram and then later feature them on their blog! This weeks prompt is 'Flannel Shirt' and I don't actually own any! So I bent the challenge slightly to wear this flannel shirt dress that is currently for sale in my Poshmark Closet ! So are these cool vintage Stetson aviator sunglasses! I last wore my red bag yesterday, so no link necessary! I last wore my lace up moto jacket HERE  with a mostly taupe-y spring-y look! I last wore my gray clog boots HERE with a pop of purple! I last wore my green felt hat HERE  with the same boots but a gray sweatshirt dress (for sale) & army parka!  I'm wearing: jacket-vigoss, felt hat-nordstrom rack, bag-liebskind berlin (thrifted), dress-thrifted (FOR SALE), tights-target (old), boots-c/o Sven Clogs, sunglasses-Stetson (FOR SALE)  Happy mid-week! xx

rainy, rainy, day.

Happy Tuesday! It's been SUPER rainy since last night, super unusual for my desert home but it's a bit refreshing and I do not mind taking out my bubble umbrella! It gets the job done! I just got my belt today from my thrifting trip yesterday! I love all the shiny silver detail. I wish it was real leather but I'm hoping it soften ups a bit, it's a little stiff. I got the cat collar (it's a dicky!) from Miss Patina's black friday sale and this is my first time testing it out. Wow, do I love it! I haven't worn this red sweater since HERE not sure why, I should wear it more, it's a really fun style! Now that I'm thinking of it, it might be that the fun sleeve details get covered up by coats in the Winter? I last wore my red clog boots HERE with my teal moto jacket and faux leather pants! I last wore my faux suede midi skirt HERE with some cowboy boots! I last wore my red purse HERE with a dinosaur sweatshirt! I last wore my pansy trench
