gray day & end of April vibes.

Just a gray outfit for a hot day! This snake print wrap skirt was an absolute staple last year and it's still going strong.  I'm wearing: thrifted tee and skirt, vintage coach bag, gifted sven clogs, thrifted balenciaga sunglasses Here was an Italian dinner date night look: go-to veronica beard knit with my thrifted free people jeans, a yin yang bag from etsy and my newest (first time) dr marten sandals! Here's the thing with the dr marten sandals. They run crazy big. I got mine in a size 7! I'm a women's 8.5. They are also a bit of a b!tch to break in! I got a big of a chafing wound on the round bone in my ankle from the stiff leather rubbing against it during a dogwalk. I guess I need to go back to the socks and sandals break-in process until they soften up! I love the look of them though. I think the light pink leather is super pretty too. They were $70 at Nordstrom Rack, compared to $110 full price still on their dr. marten main website! Pretty decent savings!

I feel like this outfit really captures a lot of my signature style pieces and makes me feel cute and confident. I love a two-color focus, color blocking, whimsical patterns (lemons), clogs, corset lace up details, bows, well pretty much all of these things! I'm wearing : thrifted shirts, skirt from poshmark, vintage coach bag, sven diamond strap clogs, thrifted stella mccartney sunglasses, vintage barrette.  & here's another recent look, green sven clogs and another dress that I thrifted in Hawaii. This one has a cool patchwork effect and unique lace inserts at random pieces. Great for airy summer wear, for sure! It's very easy-breezy. xx

a new dress.

I've been dreaming of this dress for literal years and was completely gobsmacked when I saw it on mega-sale on Amazon for less than half of the retail price! It was only $60, when on the tags and Desigual main site, it is still retailed at over $200! I really don't like to support Amazon for fashion or choose to buy Amazon brands often in any capacity, but I have found that every once in a while, a high-end or really nice quality item by an established brand will have these crazy lightening-deal price drops. I've gotten Swedish Hasbeens for fifty or sixy bucks this way. I've gotten leather and suede genuine nice motorcycle style jackets by Bagatelle and Superdry for under $100. I've also gotten several designer bag items such as a Botkier bag or kate spade wallet or purse on occasion. I find the best practice is to add these admired items to my 'wishlist' and check every four or five months, sometimes a year or two, and the items will be severely price dropp

One of my signature moves every year is to buy Winter stuff off season in the Spring/Summer, when it is way cheaper! This week's find was these no 6 store kiltie boots (discontinued) from Poshmark, in this gorgeous soft denim-y shade of blue. They are so gorgeous! I got them even though they were a size 40 since the seller gave me a great discount offer, and I figured putting insoles or thick socks would be fine, but actually they do fit more like a 39, so it worked out perfectly. They are definitely the right size for me! I am sure I will wear them a ton next Fall and Winter. For now, they will sit proudly on display in my closet. I really enjoyed teh simplicity of this red ootd with some of my comfiest pieces. I've been wearing this denim vest more often too. I feel like it pulls more interest when paired with a more 'baggy' dress to break it up a little. A tried and true ootd from last year, my super lightweight thrifted skirt and thrifted ribbed tee with some clog s

I wore this outfit again that I wore for Passover and I love it together! I got these pieces recently at an upscale consignment store, Urban Exchange! I'm wearing: (thrifted) veronica beard sweater and anthro jeans, botkier bag from eBay, gifted sven clogs It's slightly inconvenient that the knit is totally sheer, but I just throw on a cami under! It's my number one fave color! My scrunchy and the headband I wore on Passover are a perfect color match too. My friend and I tried Artichoke Basille Pizza. It was just ok. Too greasy for me, personally. The vodka sauce wasn't really anything to right home about either. I would probably go back but it wouldn't me first, second, or third choice! It is also on the pricey side at $5.75 a slice. Do you shop consignment? What's your fave pizza place? xx

This rainbow lizwear skirt is a power player in my closet! I reach for it pretty often. I do wish the elastic wasn't stretched out or I had the skill to fix it, but the good news is that it has belt loops! I'm wearing: f21 hat, vintage denim corset, thrifted belt, skirt from poshmark, tessa clogs 'joy' style Here's what I wore to Easter : thrifted baby yoda tee with a thrifted belt, anthro pants and gifted sven clogs It's not cliché to wear pastels, right? I also wore this outfit recently! My recently scored real leather vest from eBay is SO cool! Major edgy points to an otherwise 'basic af' look! I wore: t hrifted top and skirt, poshmark sven clogs and eBay vest (orig INC brand)  Did you have a nice Holiday weekend/week? I hope so! xx
