May Adventures
I am always disappointed when a bagel shop sells out of egg bagels (my favorite), but plain is the next best!Felt resort-y with these recent thrift pick ups (skirt above) (100% silk 90s top below)
I love Mexican food!Axel got a shiny new collar tag with UFOs! (above)I wore my recently acquired secondhand UO cotton dress! I call it the fiesta dress, because it reminds me of confetti
Who else gets really pleased with the visual of freshly cut fruit?Modeling my fundraiser shirt with the doggo that inspired the drawing!
These vintage Doc Martens (style is Eleanor) might be the most 'me' shoes I've ever found secondhand in my life! They were really heavily discounted on poshmark, since the patent leather was badly scratched and peeling,.
Do you know the muffin man? Our local donut place actually has the best muffins, believe it or not!Above, prepping for a Thrift Haul instagram reel. It is months worth of thrifting, because I will never support the types of videos that encourage people to buy 30+ items in one shopping trip! Over consumption is real! Above: I fixed the spots and chipping with some Angelus leather paint, my go-to for DIYs with leather shoes and bags!
Trying out my recently bought leopard print triple bow top from Nordstrom Rack with a simple look.
I love my new shakespeare tee from Dangerfield. I had to have it!Leftovers from the Italian Daughter (above)I love a good S'mores icebox cake!
Above, I hand-sewed and glued a ton of the sequins and beads on this skirt, since it feels too delicate to wear! I hate feeling like I am shedding every where I go. My mom got this straw poodle umbrella holder as a gift and it cracks us up! Axel doesn't know what it is.Family dinner! My dad made steak and I brought carrot cake and ice box cake!
Above, Greek takeout and below, wearing the urban outfitters confetti dress again!
Adding my free Dutch Bros swag to my hat rack. I love the retro vibe. It is my go-to dog walking hat!above: taking myself on a date outfit! I went to a revolving sushi bar, nordstrom rack, and a consignment store!
I was tempted by this anthro sheer dress (above), but it just has no waist! It also feels too delicate. Below, this was also a return, the dress is WAAAAY too long and I don't like the color either.
Above, did I mess up NOT getting this awesome leather cactus vest? Maybe...but I don't like open style vests. If it had buttons, snaps, or a zipper, I would've been more add-to-cart-happy!
Here's another thrifting outfit! This time at Plato's Closet. These shorts are so cute, but too short in the back. This vintage sweater was an immediate yes! This dress is fun, but too sack-shaped! I skipped it. I absolutely loved the details on this beaded sheer top! Yes!
A girl meal: tuna crackers and sliced pears with cheese
I snazzed up thse old sneakers with some TJ Maxx shoe charms! How cute are they now?I also found some cute sheet masks to add to my stash and have been binge watching 'Elspeth.' How epic is her wardrobe? I really want her cardigan here (below), but I don't think I would actually wear it...
Above: I also found this real silk vintage gold label Victoria's Secret camisole on my Plato's Closet trip!
Above, a fruity outfit and Below, I went to Savers on a mission specifically to find a bunch of frames to help my parents set up their mantel with some fresh (ie, past 3 years) family photos in secondhand photo frames!
I did some deep cleaning, and was really pleased with the results! I also found this teal Patricia Nash bag on Poshmark and I love it! I got these smiley face (below) bamboo pjs to travel and use all Summer (I am a hot sleeper for sure).
Above, Chinese takeout! My go-to has always been Shrimp with Lobster sauce, as long as I could remember! Below, I finally did the damn thing and reorganized my entire sock drawer. I don't know how I ended up with so many socks.
I went to a local neighbor-set-up brunch and it was okay. A bit of gossip and the selected restaurant didn't even have real maple syrup OR espresso! Maybe I am a brunch snob?
Above: Doctor's office style! Wearing my new top out and about and switched out my Tessa Clog straps to match with the pop of blue. xx
