MELISSA IN PARIS: my first time in France!

What can I say about my first time in France? It was very cold--I wouldn't want to go back in the winter, but I WOULD want to come back.

My brother's wedding in Paris was like a movie and I am so extremely grateful we were able to go and be a part of the special memories and occasions---it was so surreal! The Eiffel Tower! Fifteen minutes from the venue on foot!

The food was not what I expected...I was most enamored with a Chinese cafeteria-style takeout place by my hotel and also addicted to the bakery down the street's pistachio-laced croissants. I ate at least 3 that week.

I also absolutely LOVED Euro Disney! Definitely, if you are ANYWHERE near it by subway or have an opportunity even to stay on location at a Disney Hotel ( we would love to do this next time) I cannot express how WORTH IT visiting is. We absolutely loved the rides, the lesser-crowds, the restaurant Walt, was INCREDIBLE. The souvenirs and shopping was cool and different. We had a seriously incredible experience. We actually got to go on EVERY ride that we wanted to and Peter Pan himself even spoke to me! I was having a true Disney Adult moment. He said he liked my jacket (it was very clearly peter-pan-colored metallic shiny green leather)!

Have you ever been to France?

What do you think of it?

Do you like French dishes/dining? What about tourist attractions? We didn't have time for the Louvre, and the weather was too rainy for a river cruise, but we definitely would love to do some of those things next time.

xx
