August highlights.

This fairy-worthy bows dress is a recent find from Buffalo Exchange. I think it is so gorgeous! Very floaty and summery. I chose to make it a bit more casual with a heart bag and red clogs.

This Moon River dress that I got in California (tj maxx) has become one of my favorite pieces. Can an elastic waist ever not make me feel at piece with my frequent bloating? I think not.

Here's a close up (above) of my Coney Island Aquarium shark earrings! I wore this outfit for some Saturday donut and yard sailing adventures.
We also stopped and played Foosball at the Boba shop, where I got a matcha slushie!

Above, just obsessed with my thrifted hat rack that was a staggering $10 (half off) whereas it is over $200 on Wayfair! Easily in my top 10 houseware thrifts EVER.
I found the perfect Alice dress and apron combo for $2 that I will be wearing this Halloween! My friend even found these matching Josef Siebel (luxury German comfort brand) lil mary janes to complete the look!

I got this Ann Taylor glittery mini dress and it's way shorter on me than I expected so I may have to put it in the SHOP. What do you think? Maybe I can make it work with tights?
Found an 80's drop waist dress in my favorite color and below, a funky assymetrical handmade skirt.
Below, the thrifting ootd!
I was THIS close to getting this 2 piece frog (planter?) set. It was so unique, and I couldn't find anything like it online. I loved the contrast colors and his little spots!

Greek thrifting-fuel (above).

Above, a repeated outfit with my 80's 2-in-one vest tee.
LOOK! I found my dream obnoxious shiny green real leather boots on Poshmark! They are so crazy, I love them. I really hope I can style them better than the influencer who decided to get rid of hers recently (Jeffrey Campbell version) hers made me want them so badly! I was fixated for weeks until I found these. They fit great and even have a side zip.

Above, LOVED this summery blues ootd featuring my leopard top.
Above homemade taco night + below, more summer thrifts!

This unique tulle skirt with lots of beading was a find my friend picked for me.
This 80's giraffe two-piece set was an instant yes! I'm obsessed. So cute together or separate!
I found this babydoll dress that I didn't realize was high-low (mullet) which I hate, so it's going in the SHOP! This egyptian cotton funky vintage dress is going to be my official favorite sleepwear. I love it so much...perfectly oversized too.

We were thrifting for so long that we missed out on most places for dinner, so we went to a late night bar for pasty and DQ for some Blizzards to end the night!

Here was my thrifting-with-my-friend ootd. I definitely want to rewear this. I love how the cardigan matches the dress! Color matches really scratch an itch for me.

Above: proof that sometimes when I'm dogwalking (or working out at home) I will wear (thrifted) athleisure!
Above 'half' a sandwich I had for lunch while staying with my parents. The challah roll really steps it up to next level!
We went out to celebrate my colonoscopy being done (above) and I was thrilled to eat flourless chocolate cake!

Who else loves a slice and salad kinda lunch? It's one of my go-tos for sure. Pizza is a safe food for me, especially when it doesn't have red sauce.

Above: off to get colonoscopy-d. IYKYK. Crohn's Life.  This time, my prep was WAY too sugary. My nurse recommended to try Crystal Lite next time as a mixer/base, which I'm definitely adding to my notes for the next time I have to do this...hopefully not too soon!
Above: sushi outfit and sushi I ate!

I CAN'T beleive that I finally found pizza earrings (at buffalo exchange)! They are truly iconic. Pizza is one of my favorite foods ever.

Nutella Marble cookies are one of those go-to recipes that I feel like LOOKS way more impressive and hard to do than it actually is! Out of all the nuts, hazelnut has always been my #1.

Above, trying out my recently-thrifted Vintage Express top. It's not my typical style, but I do enjoy the ballet-leotard-esque silhouette. It's a nice change up, I think.
Who else is a sucker for a birthday brownie sundae (above)?
Tried a new-to-us coffee place with the cutest goat logo and did some expoloring/shopping in Tempe, AZ.

We also got burgers at one of my husband's fave places from when he used to work/live in the area.

Above, chocolate peanut butter pie is a guilty pleasure for sure!
Above, I got my dream anthropologie orange (realistic) print skirt in the mail from eBay, and I'm IN LOVE. It's so gorgeous! Below, Axel has been gathering all of his toys together lately before laying down with them! So cute.

Some yummy Italian food and divine chocolate cake are my kinda date night. Plus Axel is welcomed at the patio, which is even better!

Below, we tried a new cabin rental to celebrate a huge milestone for my husband's birthday with friends and family.
We were able to bring Axel and Yeti and all the cabins were equipped with grills, large fridges and all the basics to cook and bbq for the staycation. It was a huge success and so much fun that we are already thinking of doing it again next summer! It's also a huge bonus knowing that it is always 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix up there in the Summer. Most Phoenicians will tell you that the summer, especially July/August is the hardest time to be in the desert. The heat can be really sweltering and intense.

I'm wearing: garage sale top, vintage skirt from eBay, vintage barrette from eBay, coach cherry bag, tessa clogs

I'm wearing: last chance hat, thrifted top, friend-me-down skirt, eBay vintage Sendra boots
Above and Below are examples of more grunge-y/emo style summer looks that I mix in with all my dopamine dressing!

The background in this shot my husband took looks too majestic to be real! The clouds were extra beautiful that day. We had a blast doing some mini hikes and off-roading with our friends on the rim! xx
