California Dreamin'

Who knew that California has such amazing Italian food? We stayed in Orange County this time, with our family and Axel.
Above: the most expensive donut that I ever bought... $8, ouch! It's orange frosting and chocolate cake bottom and it's also gluten free, I think? Because, California?
Going back to Knottsberry Farm with my brother and his fiancee was a blast. It was her first time and it was my brother's first time as an adult (we'd gone when we were tween-age, I want to say, maybe younger?). We also loved the vibes at nighttime. They are opened later than I remember, and had live music and much less people than during the day. There was just one ride that I went on that was so intense (an extreme rollercoaster) that my arms were shaking afterwards.

We had some overpriced Mexican Food (above)
Here's a peek into the shoes I packed with me and my suitcase, with Ruby staying close by.

You can see my everyday hat and one of my bags on the door. I like to bring 2-3 different bags on vacation when I travel so that it always feels like I'm refreshing my outfits/wearing more switched-up things.

I was of course, very pleased to find out there were Egg Bagels at the bagel shop near us, which are my personal forever-favorite!

My friend took these photos of me at the Botanical Gardens. We spent hours here doing a scavenger hunt with her two boys and getting ice cream after! My kinda day. We also walked almost 5 miles. It was perfect.

Got a severely overpriced iced mocha (above) and a perfectly incredible lemoncello-infused pasta dish (below).

Who else loves egg chairs?

Bye, CA! Hopefully see you again next year...xx
