mid-May highlights.

Above, a monochrome thrifting ootd I'm very proud of! This Sundance brand skirt is one of my dream thrift items, but of course, the major downside is that it sheds sequins LIKE CRAZY! I wish they were attached more securely. I'm tempted to go in and attach them with fabric glue...have any of you ever dealt with this problem before?

This green dress from a consignment store by Ann Taylor has been a closet staple for me! I've worn it so many different ways. Here it is being reworn with my duck belt (vintage dirndl style from Germany!)

Above, my friend that works with food brands got me hooked on baking with Guittard. They are worth the extra money!

Look at all these beautiful Italian plates/dishes from a recently opened spot near us! We got to schmooze with the owner and were super impressed with his true-NY-style Italian dishes. THe chicken cutlet with lemony pasta (above/middle) was the biggest winner to me! The pizza was also INCREDIBLE. Best crust I've had in a long time.

Above, my mom and I have started going to a place that won cupcake wars on Food Network and has some of the best cupcakes I've ever had!

I got this vintage White Stag vest, but I'm putting it for SALE because I just don't think it's my style...

I'm still debating whether or not I want to sell this secondhand SHINY BY NATURE denim pinafore. I absolutely love the heart pocket, but the length...hm I wish it was like all the way to my knees! Or at least a good 3 or 4 inches longer! I don't like feeling like I am going to have my legs fully out every time I sit or bend. Not very practical. Might sell, but I'm still thinking if I only wear it with tights it could work?? What do you guys think?
