end of May.
I can't believe that I found a place that will make vodka pasta pizza for me! It is my ultimate favorite from Long Island, NY. Carb coma, status, but worth it!
Life hack: if you have fading out on color of shoes/details on a leather item, JUST color it in with a fabric marker for more vibrancy! I made these faded out barely-red flowers stand out more and I love the way they turned out. I was just going on a hunch and I'm glad I followed it.
Above, I had this dress tailored to add straps and pin the bow in place because it was so heavy that it flopped. This is also a reminder to myself that a lot of Anthropologie clearance items are there because they are simply NOT practical/flawed/have poor designs or fits.
I also got this chainmail-reminiscent dress on an Anthropologie clearance day, but it's too short for me to feel super confident in, so I haven't worn it in real life yet. I think with tights it would be amazing. I also feel like I could wear a slip under it and maybe it will blend enough to not look too bad?
I went to my first adult prom! It was at the museum and so incredibly fun. One of my girl friends was interested and the perfect friend date!
But first, FRIED CHICKEN AND CHESS PIE! Gus' Fried Chicken was definitely worth the hype! We loved it. Perfect pre-dancing fuel.
They gave us these cutie li'l corsages! Too perfect!
Way better than my high school prom! None of those high school bullies or self-conscious energy or ugly prom dress (I felt like the statue of liberty)!
Above, wearing my Dedicated dress from Sweden and my poshmark Tessa Clogs.
Trying on and deciding on 3 outfits for a sleepover with a girl friend (I haven't had one in YEARS and was overthinking everything, of course).
Couldn't believe she has this amazing Farmer's Market Store right by her house. They had some of the coolest local products!
Including my family's favorite hot sauce (below).
Frolicking through the sunflower fields and doing some video and photo shooting felt like a dream come true. It was very hot and a little sweaty, but we joked and laughed the whole time.
I even lived my cheesy mining cart life.
Of course, we worked up an appetite, and hit Buffalo Exhange, Handel's Ice Cream, and an Italian spot since my friend's favorite food is Bruschetta!
I had the eggplant parm sandwich and it was SO YUMMY.
Tried an Italian spot near another friend's apartment for my bruschetta case file. I had to find the best bruschetta in the valley, of course!
I've been loving matching my hair bows to my outfits lately! Half up hair is the go-to style. It really helps me keep my heair off my face and from feeling too hot in the Summer.
My parents were down to do restaurant week with us at one of my fave seafood spots.
Very tasty!
Above, got these new Fly London fisherman sandals for a deep discount on Amazon this week!
All red and pink for yard sale and donut weekending.
I found this laundry shot very satisfying. This gingham dress has been such a power piece in my closet. It always makes me feel confident, even on very bloated days.
Above: been loving this patchwork 100% cotton anthropologie shirt I got on clearance I've been wearing it about once a week. It's so breezy and comfy.
I've also been wearing this dress a ton. It's a bit lower cut than I typically go for, but I might play around with the neckline a bit and see if I can layer it...
Above, my mom got a kick out of my usa clogs (sven clogs c/o). They are funny, I guess. She says I truly have a pair of clogs for every occasion!
Here's the full Memorial Day style outfit (above).
I tried styling the linen vest. I don't hate it, I just don't know if I love it. There's something about the shape, it just doesn't feel 'me'.
Green dress (again), but this time with the lemon bag for a Mall visit.
Where are my rainier cherry enthusiasts? My favorite fruit of them all! xx
