Spring Travels...I went to NY!
What's better than a post-travel massage? Not much!
We also watched Ruby for a few days since my parents stayed in NY longer than us.
My husband hates this denim skirt, but I still love it, and I really like how it pairs with tall western boots!
We are living in our Vietnamese food era! We have such a great place near us that we really love.
Isn't this Goosebumps tee fun? I like how it pairs with the neon green in the skirt!
Did some Savers' thrifting with my friend from MN. We found some things! I really liked this retro Modcloth dress (above) but it's too big in the chest so will be FOR SALE!
Below, my friend found A FOSSIL! How cool?
I ate a gyro sandwich to give me some thrift fuel (below)
NYC was the destination for my friend's brother's wedding! My brother was even one of two best men, so I'm especially glad to have been in the guest party!
Most of our NY trip was actually spent in Albany. I brought my new yellow leather jacket on it's maiden voyage, and it's a good thing too, since it was so rainy AND (unexpectedly) SNOWY!
The Italian food was TO DIE FOR. Chicken Parm and pizza for days!
We did our first visit to New Paltz, where I did my Bachelor's degree. This new coffee and tea shop was recommended to us from a staff member at the chocolate shop. I even got to meet one of my college friends for the first time since I graduated! It was a real treat.
We also checked out the highly rated, and very cute New Paltz cat cafe!
Above, our B+B host favorite breakfast was the very simple eggs with fruit and avocado toast. We didn't really want to have heavy breakfasts on this trip so we would have more room to eat lots of restaurant food!
I tried this baklava cheesecake (above) and it was pretty interesting...
The diner was so satisfying and nostalgic (above). I just LOVE NY diners.
Above, I got a gel manicure in Albany for the wedding, and my husband got a pedi.
We ended up spending the snow day at the mall, and it was exactly what we needed! Could you believe all of this snow in SPRING?
Still can't get over how cute the B+B greyhounds are! Loved staying somewhere with built in dogs. BIg plus!
We had to go to Moe's because my husband never had it, and it's very nostalgic for me since it was a big fave during my high school years.
The food in Rhineback is always incredible (above) and (below). We had some sweet treats and lunch in between thrifting, antiquing, and going on a little hike in the rain.
More diner dishes.
We started off the trip with a board game cafe and it was very fun and felt like a great way to celebrate our inner child! xx
