mid April highlights.

One of my signature moves every year is to buy Winter stuff off season in the Spring/Summer, when it is way cheaper! This week's find was these no 6 store kiltie boots (discontinued) from Poshmark, in this gorgeous soft denim-y shade of blue. They are so gorgeous! I got them even though they were a size 40 since the seller gave me a great discount offer, and I figured putting insoles or thick socks would be fine, but actually they do fit more like a 39, so it worked out perfectly. They are definitely the right size for me! I am sure I will wear them a ton next Fall and Winter. For now, they will sit proudly on display in my closet.

I really enjoyed teh simplicity of this red ootd with some of my comfiest pieces. I've been wearing this denim vest more often too. I feel like it pulls more interest when paired with a more 'baggy' dress to break it up a little.
A tried and true ootd from last year, my super lightweight thrifted skirt and thrifted ribbed tee with some clog sandals. Easy and classic!
These shoes were featured in a recent instagram reel: most worn (the doc boots), cheapest (the $7) oxford flats, most expensive (the two color swedish hasbeen shearling boots), favorite (impossible to chose) but I'm really fond of these turquoise patent svens that they custom made for me, and most recent was these floral vintage-style svens that are in a beautiful, discontinued pansy-like print! I guess you can say I have a shoe-type. Floral and teal lately!
Here was a weekend errand ootd: this cute dress from hawaii, sven clogs and my go-to coach duffel bag I thrifted this year and have been really loving.
This look for some instagram shots and a casual day mostly-at-home was one of my favorite recent grunge-summery vibes. I actually folded in the sides of my shapeable leather hat to make more of a cowgirl silhouette and made this old and very worn dress a bit fresh by adding this more recently-added vintage genuine leather vest from eBay. It's such a cool piece. I love the moto vibe and longer shape. It has so much styling potential I'm excited to unlock.

Just a basic tee and jeans and clogs ootd for casual dinner.

We have been really loving Zinburger lately. PLUS we can take Axel since they are so dog-friendly on the patio. Getting a double patty is also cheaper than getting Axel his own separate burger patty, so we've been doing that 'hack' as well!

How has your April been going? xx
