back to brights.

It's Monday again, somehow. The 'let's get Earthy' challenge is over and it was a lot of fun. Yesterday, I wasn't all in on the 'rock' gray theme only because I wasn't feeling well enough to do photos and even get dressed until very late in the day when I started feeling more myself.
I did still take a quick flatlay of my gray outfit that I had planned and ended up wearing for a few hours to do some errands and restock some groceries and have a quick meal at home. It's on my instagram, here.
As much as I liked the challenge of wearing more muted and earthy colors, I am definitely RELIEVED and excited to get back to my favorite bright colors like purple, pink, and red!

This cream beret and Lacoste preppy striped tee are NEW to the blog but both thrifted! This is their joint debut, I think they are fun together because they make the summery outfit look slightly more autumnal with the hat and boots, in my opinion!

I last wore my purple bag HERE with a 'Jurrasic Park' inspired look.
I last wore my bow doc martens HERE with a Fall 'Harry Potter' inspired look!
I last wore my purple pleated skirt HERE for Halloween! I was the Pokemon Gengar!

 I'm wearing- cream studded beret-poshmark, striped tee-lacoste, skirt-endless rose (poshmark), bag-coach (eBay), sunglasses-oui fresh, boots-dr martens (here)

I think this look would be great for a picnic or day trip. It's very comfortable but also a bit Springy and girly. I feel like I could play croquet.
I wanted to wear a lot of my thrifted pieces since it's the Thrifted Chic Challenge on instagram for three days! Prepare to see some of my favorite secondhand-based looks this week! Happy Monday! xx

  1. Totally adorable and very much a "Saguaro Style"! ;) The boots add an element of tough girl to all your cutesy feminine pieces. So well styled – Nice look!
