rainy days.

Good afternoon! We had the BEST time at the alumni even last night. Even though, or maybe despite the fact that it was 95% Geology Majors (and the others were all alunni employees and their guests with one Geology Student's guest that was in the music industry), we had so much fun connecting with really cool and passionate people that were super friendly and welcoming.

Even though nobody there was from my year, it was still very cool to talk about the college I love and enjoyed going to so very much!
I also feel like the completely zig zaggy way my husband and I each got to our current careers and switched majors and passions is good to share with current students and recent grads that aren't as sure yet!

I really see myself being slightly more involved in future alumni events and I am especially interested in the Women's Leadership Summit that they host at my college every Spring! I don't see myself being able to spring for another NY trip this year but definitely sometime in the next few years would be awesome!

I last wore this cool bomber jacket HERE in the winter (yes, it's still cool enough for a light jacket in January in the desert)! I also wore it last Spring for an event but I guess I don't have that many pictures of it that day since it was right after a surgery.
I last wore my shoulder bow smocked top HERE with my cacti cowboy boots!
I last wore my heart cowboy boots HERE with a Kimono that is still for sale!

 I'm wearing: Jacket-paige X homework (marshall's), skirt-thrifted (ann taylor), top-Marshall's, sunglasses-oui fresh, boots-eight second angel (eBay)

 Bonus kitty pic!

I hope you are having a fantastic week! I'm not usually the half-wearing-my-jacket type but it really is weird after-rain weather out and so muggy and even a bit windy! I just love the back embroidery of the jacket and the subtle tie dye. It's definitely a bigger size than I need but I would have trouble giving it away! xx
