 Today was 'borschtday' because I had a friend say she wanted to try my borscht when we were talking about food, one of my favorite topics, and turned into a thing! This time around, I made it in the Instant Pot and it was a HUGE game changer. It only took about 55 minutes total and I also baked some Amy's Organic biscuits to go along and it was wonderful. Hearty, healthy, veg-heavy and comforting! I would definitely recommend it!

Today, I'm wearing TWO new-to-me items: this recently thrifted real leather jacket from friggin' ROME, ITALY and in my absolute favorite color ever (so meant to be) and my newest acquired clog boots....by No. 6! I definitely paid more than I wanted to or ever would but I got into an eBay bidding war that really made me realize just how much I wanted them (they have hints of turquoise in the knit) and are lace up, and a lovely and unusual charcoal gray! Also, they are NOT shearling so I felt pretty confident in keeping my usual size 39 and they fit PERFECTLY. I would definitely recommending spending $150 or less if you can (like I did) on these gorgeous, hand crafted, and luxury clog boots! They do retail for $450 on average NEW which I would never ever ever spring for and their large price tag may be what makes them a 'status clog' !

 Would I recommend No. 6 clog? Yes! I DO have to say that the laces are crazy crazy long though and I ended up swapping them up for these much more reasonably length boot laces! They also would be improved (in my opinion) with a side zipper for easy on/off but overall, I have to say that these are stunning, and I'm overall very happy with the hefty (for me) price tag that I snagged them for on eBay after an intense 14 back-and-forth bidding hour!
