 Today was just a really chill & lovely day of doing some housework, meeting a good friend to do some shopping (she needed shoes for an upcoming wedding), and seeing a movie with another good friend (more on that soon!). I last wore my denim cold shoulder top HERE (on the blog) but honestly, I brought it on my DC last month and wore it a bunch while on vacation. It's super versatile, flattering and just easy to style and mix up with different outfits! I last wore my navy clogs HERE with a lemon-themed look! I last wore my red crescent bag HERE with an orange-themed outfit!  It is somehow suddenly sweater-weather in the desert and it feels like it cooled off almost over night! I only shopped 2 main Black Friday Sales this year: Sven Clogs & Miss Patina and I have no regrets! I'm buying a few gifts on Amazon for my husband but other than that, I'm really trying not to do a crazy holiday shopping binge or sales grab for no reason/things that I don't really need or would've bought otherwise.  Happy Day-Before-Thanksgiving! I'm so excited to spend time with my family and eat all the stuffing I am capable of eating this week! As far as Black Friday shopping goes, there were only two main stores I shopped at this year: Sven Clogs & Miss Patina , both offering 20%. They are brands that I am very fully loyal to and supportive of and don't make me feel that 'fast fashion' or 'cheap price but cheap quality' feeling I've felt for many years after doing binge-like Black Friday shopping. This is a healthier retail year for me all around, and I think the holidays are really important to keep on that green, more sustainable path as well, if it is something that is important to you! I am also running a Black Friday Sale in my Poshmark Closet , starting tomorrow morning so keep an eye out for some extra (secondhand) savings!  Happy Monday! It's been tricky doing outfits over the weekend because we had a major ant problem and it's just starting to get better today, thank goodness. I'm really looking forward to the holidays. I'm wearing two new pieces, both secondhand, this cute little plaid skirt that I've been searching for, for maybe a decade? Also, the sweater is from my mom, I like the really wide neck. It reminds me of when I used to try to stretch out my sweaters and shirts as a kid because I used to HATE tight collars more than anything!  Happy Thursday! The thrifted chic style challenge on instagram is done but I'm still wearing a lot of secondhand things, which I love to do. I am debuted my hand-me-down sweater (from my mom) and also my NEW Sven halter top peep toe clogs in navy suede! I definitely prefer the halter top style in suede since I have skinny little sensitive ankles, they have a lot more give. Also this style runs smaller than other Svens in my experience so it's nice that the suede just has more flex overall. I wanted a pair of navy clogs for a while and these fit in really nicely! I last wore my circle purse HERE with a cactus-inspired look.
