donut disturb.

I'm proud of this pinktastic outfit I put together. I fell in love with this Sourpuss dress on Amazon and it's really cute, BUT I didn't realize it's so staticky and hot to wear 100% polyester like this so I'm not sure if I'll be keeping it yet. Let me know what you guys think! I'm wearing: hat from Mexico, sourpuss dress, kate spade outlet bag, eight second angel boots (eBay) This dress was another Amazon find, by Belle Poque which I first discovered secondhand at Plato's Closet (my cherry dress). I really just want some commotion for this PEACOCK BAG my husband bought me! Isn't it one of the coolest bags you've ever seen? I'm obsessed. It's from the Kate Spade Outlet.  Did you know that Peacocks have a lot of symbolism and are closely tied to eyes/vision?  Axel is unimpressed. Maybe you are more interested? xx

I got new glasses!

This is my first time having round glasses in over 10 years (last time was a pair of tortoiseshell Tommy Hilfiger ones in college).  Infusion ootd (above) and chilling on the drip (IV). The hardest part of getting my 6 week infusions, besides the nurse struggling to find my vein, and me not driving, is just the sheer boredom of it all. It's 2.5 hours with minimal use of whatever arm is hooked up. I try to always schedule around a meal because that helps. I also download some youtube videos and podcasts to keep my mind of things.  Above, check out this vintage 90s dress that I got for $11 and I've been wearing these upcycled Sendra star boots a ton as well. This green Patricia Nash fanny pack has become my go-to dog walking bag becasue it is so roomy and comfy! Here's my little Babushka dog and below is one of my go-to easy summer meals: ground chicken with veg and cous cous. It can even be made in the instant pot! Is there anything better than a 90s overall dress? These are...

California Dreamin'

Image
Who knew that California has such amazing Italian food? We stayed in Orange County this time, with our family and Axel. Above: the most expensive donut that I ever bought... $8, ouch! It's orange frosting and chocolate cake bottom and it's also gluten free, I think? Because, California?  Going back to Knottsberry Farm with my brother and his fiancee was a blast. It was her first time and it was my brother's first time as an adult (we'd gone when we were tween-age, I want to say, maybe younger?). We also loved the vibes at nighttime. They are opened later than I remember, and had live music and much less people than during the day. There was just one ride that I went on that was so intense (an extreme rollercoaster) that my arms were shaking afterwards. We had some overpriced Mexican Food (above) Here's a peek into the shoes I packed with me and my suitcase, with Ruby staying close by. You can see my everyday hat and one of my bags on the door. I like to bring 2-3 di...
