more August adventures, thrifts, & food.
Above: some of my favorite August reads!
I got this dress over the Summer in California and I wish the bust had more room, it is definitely on the smaller side. I'm considering selling it, but what do you guys think?
Above a fully thrifted outfit with a vintage vest-attached 80s top and skirt and below, a Free People dress that I got at Nordstrom Rack and also thinking of selling because I don't really wear it often and the back is SO next level (tons of exposed skin there)
Above-I was influenced by the Doen x Gap collaboration and I did manage to get a piece on sale, but I honeslty don't love it. I wish it was fully lined! It doesn't even have pockets! Plus, my usually size was sold out, so I went up and the straps are a bit too long on me (not adjustable). Above, these boys! They make my heart so happy. Little nephew Yeti and Uncle Axel!
Above: ramen takeout with friends & Below: my friend and I reworking some jewelry and gluing some scraps into functional (and pretty cute) barrettes and clips!
This outfit is definitely going on my Summer repeats list! I love how the skirt and shoes exactly match and how light and airy the cotton materials are.
Above: Gengar Shelf is really coming along! I love my little closet pokemon shelf collection. It brings me joy.
This dress was an Anthropologie clearance find in California and I really like how easy it is to dress up and how comfortable it is even in these triple digit temperatures.
I found this adorable pink tiered dress at Plato's Closet, and it really fits into my style and closet!
Some finds I didn't pick up, but still admired!
Below: believe it or not, I got this Urn skirt for less than ten dollars on eBay! I love it. It feels fresh and unique but still goes with enough of my closet to make sense.
This vintage sequined/beaded shirt was another Plato's Closet find!Above: the perfect brunch Below: I regret not getting this Halloween teddy bear vest, because so many of my instagram followers wanted it! I had no idea, so next year I will be more aware of things like this in the Halloween aisles!
I'm saving this in my wishlist! I love how gorgeous the 3D flowers and delicate bow straps feel on this fairy-worthy dress!
I also am super into these Frye boots (above) but definitely NOT for $500!I ended up getting these funky jeans! Below is the outfit I came to the Mall in.
I put on some Gengar stuff to help my husband shop for Pokemon Cards.
This anthropologie skirt I found at Turnstyle is SO heavy, but I still love it and the drama of it all.2 dresses I was happy to pick up for myself at Plato's closet this month! The sailor one is definitely more for Fall, but it fits me perfectly and is so sweet!
Above my thrifting outfit and Below, my post-thrifting treat!
Above, recently added this 90 lace up back dress from eBay and I think it would look better layered over a tee. Below, I got this strawberry Lucky Brand tee from Nordstrom Rack. It is pretty cute!
Ta-Da! I upgraded both my reebok freestyle hi's with some really fun lace charms! The pokemon ones I custom did with my pliars and some earrings to turn them into lace charms.
Yellow outfits brighten up boring summer days.
Dog walking style (above)
Loving this Gap tropical vibes cotton dress I got recently. It is so comfy! I wore this look to my friend's daughter's bday (below)!
How was your August?? xx
