the perfect pinup dress.

What feels more like Summer than this amazing flowering pink oleander bush with my just-thrifted 50's inspired pinup-ready dress from Plato's Closet? 

It may not be my 'typical' style but it fits like an absolute dream and I LOVE the fruity gingham mix. It just feels right. I also really enjoy the mixmatch-ness of the dress with these recently gifted 'pixel' patterned Sven Clogs! This whole outfit just feels very fun and flirty and I'm already planning on wearing it again and again!

This was my first time straightening my hair in MONTHS. I can't believe how long it got! I'm feeling it.

I also picked up these high waist insta-famous levis wedgie jeans and I have to say---I love them and I'm just as surprised as anyone! I always thought Levis jeans fit me strangely but these (after admittedly needing to size up since they are stiff AND buttonfly) I really, truly love them!

 After years of being in the habit of switching out my bag almost every day to every other day to make my outfits more 'exciting', I've decided to be more realistic and practical and usually only switch out my purses every WEEK or maybe twice a week if I'm feeling bored/complacent. 

I feel like the 15 or so bags I have at the moment are a really good mix and I don't really feel that purse itch or fixation for a piece missing from my collection!
