hello, yellow June!

I've had the harness for a few weeks before really properly attempting to wear it out and fully styled. Here's what I came up with for my first attempt and i'm pretty happy with it! I still don't feel super confident about tying it the right way, and the straps are a bit awkward (thanks, curves) but I'm going to keep workshopping the piece before deciding if it's going to work in my closet long term or not. I definitely see it as having far more potential for layering in Fall and Winter! Suede and leather are a bit much in the desert summer.

I have been wearing my new-this-season tube top on repeat lately. I love how airy and breathable it is. It really matches a ton of stuff too. Here was a basic outfit for spending a night over my parents when my husband was away on a trip.

I wore: michael stars tube top (thrifted), anthro clearance pants (last season), kate spade bag from poshmark, gifted sven clogs
 

So I would say this post is a good rep of 2 new 'trend' attempts for me that I'm testing the longevity of: tube tops and harnesses! So far tube tops are a BIG YES and harnesses are still a soft maybe! What do you think? Have you tried any 'new' styles or types of wardrobe items lately? xx
