Happy Monday! I'm not sure how the weekend flew by so fast but at least it ended on a high note with some frozen yogurt with my dad and husband! I last wore my red sweatshirt HERE for a rainy day look. I last wore my gecko belt HERE with a lot of denim! I last wore my ruffle plaid dress HERE with a pop of red in a slightly different way! I was busy today making mashed potatoes to go with my meatloaf from yesterday and another pound of pasta to go with my vodka sauce that is still going strong in the giant batch I made!  Often, I tend to save my graphic tshirts for the gym but when I wore my Beetlejuice one with a (different) plaid skirt last month , something just hit me and I felt SO in my element and connecting with my high school self in a more grown-up me (with clogs and cooler accessories that aren't all from the dollar sections of mall punk stores). What were we all thinking with those rubber bracelets, anyway? So today, I brought out a t-shirt I got a couple of years ago from one of my cartoons, 'Rick & Morty!'  I had a fun downtown Phoenix outing with my husband and brother and his gf on a rainy Saturday! It was a lot of fun. We saw a lot of really cool and inspiring art and vintage (and faux vintage) treasures! I last wore this Gap linen dress HERE in warmer weather.  Happy Friday! It's my brother and his gf's last night in town for this visit so we are going to one of my favorite breweries and I'm really looking forward to it. Leopard print definitely screams 'night out' to me so it worked out that this was the challenge for today! Looking back at the pictures, I'm not sure that my boots actually match the jacket and beret since they are not the same 'white' and it reminds me a bit of my wedding planning with the two hundred shades of white, eggshell, cream, ivory, ect. I still prefer skirts by a long shot. How about you? xx
