happy december!
Pizza Factory is my husband's favorite childhood pizza place. There's a newer one in Mesa so he brought me back some after going with a friend! I like their pesto slices best.
I checked out a local consignment store and tried on a lot but didnt' take much home. This (above) jacket was originally from Neiman Marcus and had the tags on it, but the color just wasn't 'me.' This (below) vintage men's lacoste vest was very cool but felt a bit too Marty McFly for me. Doesn't fit in with my personal style at all! Plus in the desert, it doesn't get cold enough for puffer vests most of the time. Maybe one or two months total out of the year, so not really a good investment.
What I DID love...was (above) this vibrant green lasercut lattice detail fanny pack with TONS of room by Patricia Nash. It has immediately become a go-to, and is my standby Dog Walking bag to grab-n-go. It's so pretty, I'm obsessed.
Axel's babushka bath look (above).
I tried and added these White Chocolate cranberry cookies to the cookie list for the holidays. They are the PERFECT blend of winter flavors and so delicious.
Do you ever buy shoes online and realize that you really don't like how they look on you or how they feel once you try them on?
Such was the case for these Lucchesse boots with a hint of teal embroidery. They are WAY too pointy for me and just don't feel right, so into the shop, they go!
What are you looking forward to this month? I'm really pumped for my first ever trip to Mexico! My parents are taking me and my husband to celebrate the success of my surgery. I still can't believe what a difference in my health I've had since last summer, where I really thought I was going to end up with a full blockage and likely in the hospital. The pain and struggles of the simple tasks of eating and drinking were sky high.
