meet my 2 new and 2 thrifted clogs joining the collection!
I've been wanting clogs this color for ages, couldn't find any, and eventually decided to customize some myself! I found these battered and beat up Sven Clogs on Poshmark and mixed up navy blue and yellow angelus brand leather paint to get the right shade of 'grass' green! They aren't 'perfect,' and I might get more paint in the right shade eventually but for the meantime, they are pretty nice and much improved! I think I might want to wear them on Christmas with some red tights and jingle bells! ($20 on Poshmark)
And then I also bought these bright yellow Troentorp lace up boots in the same order...only spending $100 for 2 pairs of gorgeous new clog boots felt wildly irresistible and the bright yellow fun color was calling my name loud and clear. Just picture these with my bright yellow raincoat! I love the super happy color. They also are a perfect fit and super comfy!
See my slight hesitation was already having the teal and yellow Swedish Hasbeen shearling split boots but the yellow on those is closer to chartreuse and the split color just doesn't match everything, they are for far more simple looks and a more unique shoe to try to style. These yellow troentorps and the teal magubas next to them match far more outfits in my closet than the SH boots. The SH boots are more like a show piece that I bring out once in a while, I think, or wear with basic jeans and tee or a white or neutral dress/skirt vibe.
Below, you can see my new pink clogs on the top shelf and my upcycled green clogs next to my other green clogs. You can see it more of a medium green to flesh out my dark hunter green halter top Svens and my 'kiwi' more olive color Svens on either side!
These pink Kurier clogs were only $30, the Poshmark seller accepted my offer! She said she only wore them maybe 3 times and they even came with the dustbag. The Kurier clogs are typically $90 - $130, a pretty good price new, but I wanted to try them secondhand so I looked for a few months until these came up and I was intrigued. At first, I strongly considered painting them white, since I don't have any plain white sandals, but with all the nooks and crannys and metal details on the straps, I opted to leave them pink for the time being.
The 'Luna' moon like style really is my favorite from the brand. I really love the cutout details. The fit is good. The wood bases are not the most comfortable bases I've worn, I know the maker has recently switched bases on all her clogs, and I suspect these are the OG ones. They are a bit narrow. As far as Kurier sizing goes, if you are curious, I am usually a 39 in clogs and an 8.5 in most other shoes and the 39 definitely fits me well and is the appropriate size for me! I am also a big fan of the Kurier 'windmill' bags but they sold out fairly fast are were pretty expensive for me to justify. If she does make them again, I might save up for one though in the future! I want to wear these with tights this Winter and try them out for a test run to really determine the comfort levels and how they stack up to other clog brands. Aesthetically, they are spot on though!
And here are the original newly-green clogs as they were when I bought them on Poshmark...you can see some major scraping and loss of color, begging for a repaint!
In my last Clog Diaries, I alluded to the Maguba/Troentorp Outlet sale on eBay that I am HOOKED on because of how crazy reasonable these brand new, slightly irregular clogs and clog boots are priced at !
I got these gorgeous 'Lilly' style chelsea boots for only $50. Plus, I think the color is even better than expected because the gray is so shiny that it has a bit of a silvery sheen to it!
How cute is this slip on style? I'm so into it!And then I also bought these bright yellow Troentorp lace up boots in the same order...only spending $100 for 2 pairs of gorgeous new clog boots felt wildly irresistible and the bright yellow fun color was calling my name loud and clear. Here are my actual shoes (dog walking friendly) that I am wearing today. These used to be beat up tan leather and I painted them turquoise and swapped out the laces a few months ago! I really am pleased with how they came out. Way more fresh and new looking! (they were also only seven dollars but a really nice quality Italian brand!)

What do you think of my newest additions? Which is your favorite pair? xx
