recent Poshmark finds.

Image
I got some Poshmark Mail today! This Levi's denim dress (new with tags orig ninety dollars for only fourteen!) and these cute cutout sven clogs to add to my pretty varied clog collection! They are low heel and have that cute side cutout on the left and right! They are a perfect fit in the 39 (I'm an 8.5 for reference). They look very gently worn. There are very minor signs of wear to the leather, mostly on the straps. They are not really burgundy or maroon as these are for comparison They don't have a tan/burnt sienna tint like these (they are more deep deep purple) or feel like a true brown like the boots on the bottom picture. I'm not sure what color they are on the Sven chart. I think probably Bordeaux if I had to guess. Here isar most of my clogs, not including my clog boots and 4" plus platform clogs (I keep those on my side shelves since I wear those very rarely in real life (they are mostly for dressdressing up).  I really love my new Levi's denim dress....

new birthday dress.

It's safe to say that whenever I have extra photos that I post, it means I REALLY loved and felt good in my outfit...or I just got something new that I want to show from every angle! This dress is my newest dress, I got it with a bday giftcard from nordstrom rack for $12! It's my favorite color and fills out my turquoise-dress-collection pretty well! It's sleeveless (my only one) and perfect to layer all year round in Arizona. This is a date-night outfit that I brainstormed.  I'm wearing: c armar leather jacket, max studio dress, vintage duck belt, lazy oaf tights, thrifted sunglasses, amazon headband, sven clogs holographic mary janes Please enjoy this bonus pic of me dancing with Axel--he's SUCH a little cutie pie. And by little, I mean as-tall-as-me! xo

styling my new fringe bomber jacket.

Check out my NEW leather fringe bomber jacket that I got with some bday money from Amazon. It's by SuperDry and was somehow, magically, on a one-day lightning deal for $60. This is a $300+ luxury jacket. I'm not sure how this happened, but now it's mine and I think it's absolutely STUNNING and so warm and cozy. I love the rich chocolatey brown color--I wanted to try it with some deep blues for contrast for the first time wearing it.  My favorite bomber jacket as a kid was my high school black satin one from the Gap, I wore that thing till it was in tatters. Bomber jackets are a very 80's nostalgic silhouette that I've always been fond of. The literal letterman jackets are fun and all, but this leather fringe jacket feels like a fresh take on a classic. I feel like it will also get better, and softer, with age. It's so pretty! I also got lucky with the sizing because it was in EUR sizing and not made clear on the listing but the 12 was the only one that was m...

catcentric.

I'll start off with a dessert pic, just because Fleming's has such good carrot cake and chocolate lava cake. It was a real treat earlier this week!  Of course, I had to wear a bunch of cat pieces to go to the vet to pick up my cat. She's 15 so we got her teeth cleaned and had some bloodwork done. Overall good! Of course, she does have slightly elevated kidney levels, but the vet explained to us that it is unfortunately expected with her age, so we are switching her to a renal diet.  I know I've praised Miss Patina a lot in the past--I even had a large mixed new and secondhand collection of their clothing at my skinniest (I was a size 2/4) and their clothes fit me perfectly! I was their ideal Medium. Which is crazy too because in any other label I as an extra small. So now, that I am actually a medium in brands and no longer a 2/4, even the Miss Patina large is typically a snug fit. It doesn't have the space my butt or chest needs to sit comfortabley. They do not use...

closet cleanout/inventory refresh

This month is all about cutting down my stock for my reseller business. I just don't want 500 items for sale. I don't even want 300. I want to keep it much smaller and manageable with a MUCH bigger focus on my writing than my reselling. I only want to sell stuff I love and I know won't sit in my storage space for years. Today, I took 100 items to consign, I donated 10, I sent over 1000 offers on Poshmark and sold over 30 things in one night. I'm really trying to downsize and it seems to working. I decided to use the credits from my consignment store to do some personal shopping to upgrade my own wardrobe by using the credits from my trade in value! Here's what I got: ABOVE gremlin tee and free people distressed jeans ABOVE boutique brand sweater vest and black free people jeans (these are a bit midrise for me but I overall like them, I don't love them as much as the other things though I'm realizing now at home) Above my dream leather look skirt but I wish i...

this year's costume...a classic witch.

Image
After winning these Tabbi Socks skeleton tall socks on an instagram giveaway, I felt like I had to go with a classic witchy look this year. I'm wearing: dollar store (old) witch hat, old dress upcycled by me, old free people corset, gifted socks, gift sandals from my sister (lazy oaf x melissa) I did wear these sandals for pics but ended up wearing my neon orange gifted sven clogs for actual Halloween because they felt far more festive than hearts! I just wanted to show off the skeleton toe prints on the socks. This Halloween was also my first time ever making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that I got the recipe from a friend for. THEY ARE A NEW TRADITION. They came out amazing. So tasty! xx  I hope you had a safe and fun Halloween too! We had friends and neighbors over for a bbq and manned the fort for trick or treaters in my front yard. xx I also threw together a last minute ballerina closet look for a party on the weekend!
