catcentric.
I'll start off with a dessert pic, just because Fleming's has such good carrot cake and chocolate lava cake. It was a real treat earlier this week!
Of course, I had to wear a bunch of cat pieces to go to the vet to pick up my cat. She's 15 so we got her teeth cleaned and had some bloodwork done. Overall good! Of course, she does have slightly elevated kidney levels, but the vet explained to us that it is unfortunately expected with her age, so we are switching her to a renal diet.

I know I've praised Miss Patina a lot in the past--I even had a large mixed new and secondhand collection of their clothing at my skinniest (I was a size 2/4) and their clothes fit me perfectly! I was their ideal Medium. Which is crazy too because in any other label I as an extra small. So now, that I am actually a medium in brands and no longer a 2/4, even the Miss Patina large is typically a snug fit. It doesn't have the space my butt or chest needs to sit comfortabley. They do not use fabrics that flatter or are comfy on curves. A little elastic waist and spandex blend goes a LONG ass way! Their wool and mostly polyester is just not where it's at it at this point in my life/body type. I am hanging onto this cat beret for a while, I still enjoy it and it was a gift. So was this blouse my husband got me when we first discovered the brand on instagram but it is tight on my chest (only layering for now) and even the sleeves don't really allow for a more muscular/less bony arm/shoulder. It's definitely disappointing, but I wanted to vent and be transparent. Please know too, if you are a small size and really love the aesthetic/ brand I am selling a few pieces still on my Poshmark/Depop/Mercari but most are sold. It is a Taylor Swift brand favorite, which has boosted it's popularity a lot on the internet, and I first spotted it on the very chic and cool blogger A Clothes Horse.
& here is the latest progress on 2 leather DIYs I'm really proud of...the jacket sleeve is NOT perfect, but if you saw it before, it was torn/shredded from age or maybe a dog or cat bite! I patched it up with fabric glue and mixed 3 colors to try to get close to the shade. I might try again but this seems fine for now!
I laso did some extra white coats on my no 6 clogs inspired by the split 'bicolor' aloha boots that were everywhere a few years ago. I'm SO pleased with how they came out. They are so cute! The rose gold metallic was crazy-peeling, so this is such a fun way to give the clogs new life.
How's your November so far? What are you looking forward to this month? xx
